We are getting a new home.

After a decade of service to promising student-athletes in Baltimore, Next One Up is poised to take the next step by creating dedicated Academic and Leadership Centers throughout the City of Baltimore. Centers will provide ample space for programming and community partnerships.

Plans are taking shape for the first center, which will be operational by 2019. We have identified a 10,000-square foot warehouse space in East Baltimore. The warehouse is part of the 100-year-old Hoen Lithograph factory campus, which is being redeveloped by Cross Street Partners.

This new location, the first of three planned Academic and Leadership Centers, will enable Next One Up to better serve student athletes. It will provide ample space the for academic programming and athletic training.

The buildout will include:

  • 10,000 square feet of finished space for academic instruction, athletic training and administration
  • Two 50 seat classrooms with access to computers and high-speed internet
  • 5,000 square feet of space for athletics including a basketball and fitness training facility
